I am living the dream being able to capture authentic love stories, families, and people while creating art that will last until the end of time.

If I'm not out on a photoshoot or at a wedding I may be editing in a local coffee shop or in my studio surrounded by my houseplants and vintage decor. If I'm not editing, I love playing with my dogs to the yard, or hanging out with my boys at the zoo or museum. Did I mention we have three dogs? Of course, your dog is always welcome at your shoot, too! I also enjoy hiking, riding my peloton, being a wine club member at Cooper's Hawk, or playing Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch.

I always had an interest in photography and actually got my first camera almost 15 years ago. I even took photography classes throughout college. I graduated from Carroll University with a bachelor's in environmental science. While studying there, I began working in wildlife rehabilitation which lead me into the veterinary field post graduation. After being a veterinary assistant for almost four years, there was always something pulling me back to photography. It just was never the right time to pursue it.

When my son, Myles, was born in January of 2021, I knew I didn't want to miss moments of him growing up so quickly. I began my journey back into photography as I found myself just trying to freeze time. That effort of freezing my own time led to this business and dream come true of capturing so many moments for others. By August of 2021 I started my business officially and in June of 2022 I took the leap as a full time photographer leaving behind my career in veterinary medicine. Most recently (Oct 2022), I opened my own studio downtown Watertown, WI and it has been so amazing to be supported by so many people and a wonderful community.

In October 2022, I accomplished one of my biggest dreams: opening this studio space. A little over a year ago, I was working in veterinary medicine, feeling burnt out, and hadn't touched my camera in YEARS.

t has been such an amazing journey to be reunited with my passion for creating art. I love that I am able to have this space to create my own magic and share with other creatives. 

Yes! I do offer the studio for rentals to fellow photographers.
